The Intertextual Criticism of TTPD
Album’s self-titled song said “you’re not Dylan Thomas. This ain’t the Chelsea Hotel.” Totally modern bad grammar and “modern idiots”. Too mean and too straightforward.
Joan Baez said to Bob Dylan “you said my poetry was lousy but I remember your eyes bluer than Robin’s egg.”
Jains Joplin said to Leonard Cohen in Chelsea Hotel “I prefer handsome men but can make an exception. We are ugly but we had the music.”
Lana Del Rey said “Will you still love me when I got nothing but my aching soul.” For Taylor, the answer is a big No, apperantly.
然而L教授,然而Taylor,Do you understand,谁又不是个poet呢?
