　　在看到日本正在经历这场民族浩劫的时候，我们没有犹豫，在惊恐中我们决定发行一张慈善合辑。这是一张有别于传统唱片的数字合辑，我们花费了整整两个月的时间邀请乐队，并在反复的邮件确认和长篇的英文合同中让它终于有了现在的模样。庆幸所有的乐队对于我们的计划都满怀敬意，不收分文的同时还给予了我们在文案整理中的帮助。友谊唱片从成立开始就把 “ALL WE NEED IS LOVE”当做厂牌的座右铭，“友谊”之名亦来源于此。

　　When Chinese indie label Handshake Records watched the scene of disaster happened in Japan from Television, they were shocked and decide to launch a charity project for Japan, that is LIGHT FOR JAPAN. They write a long email to their bands like Exile Parade(UK), Tribes of the City(Latvia),Chochukmo(HonhKong),VidulgiOoyoO(SouthKorea),Nao(Malaysia),Colorblind(Swizerland),Hemlock Smith(Swizerland),Elika(US), Bottlesmoker(Indonesia) and Sparrow(China) about this, and they also invited their loved UK Manchester indie-rock band the Answering Machine, New York post punk band Dream Affair, Dream-Pop band Mad Planet, Korea math-rock band Apollo18, and good reputation electric band Lullatone from Japan to join in this compilation, all the bands are really happy to be involved it, and there are 16 bands come from different countries contributed their one song for this charity compilation. This is not a hypostatic CD, Handshake Records hope that the fans could buy it through Itunes, Amazon, emusic in worldwide, and Handshake Records will donate all the income to the Japan Red Cross foundation in aid for Japan, and publish the income on their official website www.handskr.com. This Chinese indie label has a very cool motto that is ALL WE NEED IS LOVE. Handshake Records is the first indie label to launch this kind of compilation in China, what they are doing is the relection of their motto ALL WE NEED IS LOVE.
