New York’s After the Fall got one foot in the vicious old-school hardcore and another one in Fatwreck-like melodic punkrock. The result with their third album Eradication is unbelievably sincere, catchy and fast. You can think about No Trigger going even faster and adding more edge to it’s sound, but without losing any of it’s catchiness. There are also a good amount of guest vocalists doing some decent features, like for example Jay Maas of Defeater on Irrational Behavior and Tom Rheault of No Trigger on melodic Throgs Neck. In general Eradication is nothing new or fresh, but it’s definitely a nostalgic trip back to your days in the 90′s.
