While pursuing her studies at Cégep St-Laurent and the University of Montreal, under the direction of Lorraine Desmarais, Luc Beaugrand, John Roney and Simon Denizart, Ariane Racicot performed few times on the Montreal jazz scene, notably at the Dièse Onze, at the Upstairs Jazz Club, as well as in Poland with Janusz Muniak. She is currently completing her master's degree in jazz at McGill. In 2019, she founded her own trio and created her first album, Envolée, which has been released on May 6, 2022 on the label Multiple Chord Music.
