Following up from her recent cover of Fleetwood Mac’s “Gold Dust Woman”, Julia Holter today gives her song “So Humble the Afternoon” a full digital release. Originally unveiled in 2018 as part of Adult Swim’s Singles Series, Holter’s hushed vocals and the ambient noise offer some much needed solace.

用简单轻盈的旋律勾勒出的沉着，反衬字里行间暗涌的暧昧，情绪被迷幻空旷的键盘浸润，雾化，变得朦胧，变得遥远，变得只是一次讲述。真是像极了回忆。
