The origin of “Matter” is a live set, which Lattuca presented under his moniker “Hatori Yumi”. On this base he reworked the set and created the more detailed and more personal studio version under his real name. You hear field recordings with deep and massive basslines highlighted by epic drone-noise-soundwalls. The warm sound of the album leaves an enduring impression.
