You sit and you stare and you wait and you wonder
You think "Maybe it's me and I'm being a fool."
You start to believe it's a curse that you're under
And you're just a doll for a girl who is cruel
With a pin
So let me out
Or let me in
And tell me how, we can win
Cause I really wanna know now
Before I begin
To let you go
(To let you go)
So let me know
I'd rather be wandering hungry and homeless
Than here in the warmth of a silent defeat
You've gotta be honest with me and be ruthless
‘stead of shifting uncomfortably there in your seat
And your skin
Ch 2
And who'd've thought I'd have the strength to say
"Let me out or let me in"
But as the words are pouring from my mouth
I wanna say them again, and again and again
So let me out
Or let me in
And tell me how, we can win
Cause I really wanna know now
Before I begin
To let you go
(To let you go)
Oh
Let me out, or let me in,
Oh no no
And tell me how
We can win
Oh no I really wanna know now
Before I begin
Oh to let you go, to let you go
Let me know

Already a radio mainstay and fresh from their UK tour, Bens Brother make a blazing return on August 6th with the hook-laden new single 'Let Me Out'. Hot on the heels of the eagerly awaited 12-track debut album 'Beta Male Faitytales', it's the second song to be taken from the dazzling LP and roars with super-sized vocals that echo an early Rod Stewart.
Written by lead singer Jamie Hartman, it's available on CD, 7" vinyl and to download from July 23rd with the bonus track 'Home', also taken from the forthcoming album. Produced by Martin Terefe, whose credits include KT Tunstall and James Morrison , 'Let Me Out' is a piano-driven pop triumph that shifts gear into a beautiful, melody-fuelled chorus and was a highlight of their recent live shows.
Influenced by vintage R&B and early Rolling Stones, Jamie grew up, as the name suggests, in the shadow of his elder brother, Ben - an accomplished sportsman and soaring ad executive. After years of busking on Portobello Road his songs began turning up on other people's albums. It was this that pushed him to form Ben's Brother. Now, they're poised for success in what looks set to be their most accomplished year to date.
Ben's Brother are: Jamie Hartman (lead vocalist), Kiris Houston (keyboards/guitar), Dan McKinna (bass) Dave Hattee (drums) and Morgan Quaintance (guitar).
