四人时期的Sleep，愤怒又虚无，尖锐阴暗的很，与之后黑安崇拜充满叶子味喜欢写肥美riff的sleep差别很大，有不少Asbestosdeath的影子，受厄运/泥浆/Crust影响非常大。

首专时期的Sleep，与后来的Sleep大相径庭，这张专辑并没有多Stoner，反而很Sludge很Doom，Black Flag的影响渗入了这张专辑的主要脉络中，但是在几首歌中偶尔显露的一些略Bluesy的段子似乎隐喻了Sleep接下来的路线，如果沿着这个路子继续，其实也不错。
