A Virgin and A Whore专辑翻译[新版]

前言：之前我的那篇翻译为若干年前所作，其中一方面存在漏译、错译、误译的问题，另一方面中译文也并不连贯，未加标点，再者文中未加注释，不能帮助读者很好地了解歌词本意，而仅是浮于歌词本身的意向之上。为解决这些问题，我重新修正了以前的译稿，特此翻来。才疏学浅，望各位前辈请多加包涵与点拨。

注1：指的可能是大犬星（Canis Maioris）。在Therion的诸多专辑中，其中一套双子专辑的一张便名为Sirius-β，即大犬星。在这张专辑中，大犬星同样是作为恶兆出现的。而在我国古代文化中，大犬星同样是象征生杀大权与战争饥荒的不祥之物。
注2：“第七次循环”指的可能是《圣经》中预示审判日来临的由天使吹奏的第七声号角。参见《启示录》（Revelation）11：15~19。而随着这第七声号角后到来的，便是兽与妓女（beast and harlot）。至此，便回应了该曲目标题中的“whore”（娼妓）。
注3：“Raven”（乌鸦）、“Viper”（毒蛇）和“Phoenix”（凤凰）在此大写，和“black forest”（黑暗森林）一样都指的很可能是天穹上预示凶兆的天体现象，而文中的“我”则是身为先知，从中定断世间大情。前三者可能分别指的是乌鸦座、大蛇座和凤凰座。
注4：指的是先知终于在天穹中获得了他所需的答案。

注1：“二人的世界开始相互倾轧”指的是男欢女爱，在此“你我”象征着亚当和夏娃。当人开始提倡男女之欢爱时，象征魔鬼的毒蛇便出现。此处指的是亚当和夏娃在《圣经》“创世纪”中的伊甸园中的情形。
注2：即本专辑标题。
注3：“Fall of Man”，或简称为“the Fall”，专指《圣经》中亚当与夏娃的堕落。
