　　Like the cover itself this is one sexy album. This is a collection of various songs and artists in the "Gotan Project" vein or Nu Tango if you will. Several(2) of the songs on this disc are featured on the "Bajo Fondo Tango Club" CD. There are also three songs borrowed from the "Piazolla Remixed" disc which fit into the groove perfectly. The mixture of electronica and Tango seems to mix well especially on this collection. Naturally one of the great Tango composers, Astor Piazolla, has many featured compositions, to be exact, no less than six compositions on which he plays his incredible bandeon. As is the case throughout this super collection, the artist is the interpreter and the song is then remixed by someone else. An interesting note is that Roberto Goyeneche,"El Polaco" sings remarkably like Agustin Lara and on the song "Ventanita Florida" it sounds like it is straight from some old time cabaret. There are songs featured from films , like "Sensuel" from William Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night Dream," "Caminito", the film score to "Eso No Se Habla" which features none other than old timer(is he still alive?) Marcelo Mastroianni interpreting and a song from the original film score "Tango , El Exilo de Gardel" entitled "Tango, Tango." There is even a a song from a ballet entitled "Tus besos Fueron Mios" which adds to the overall cinematic effect of this folkloric-meets-modern-madrigal amalgamate. The intersperced accoustic songs that remain pure and original serve as transition points of reference. I love this disc and the emotions it creates, from soft sensual rhythms to dance floor driven elctronic beats, the rose never seems to fall from the beautiful womans red pursed lips. Cool music for hot summer nights is the running theme throughout this nice collection. Laurent Gollard is credited with compiling these songs. The snippets of photographs featured on the cover and inside are from the lingerie brand Aubade 2004 calendar which ties in with Nu Tango because it is sexy.
