他们都是俄罗斯各大剧院交响乐团中的青年成员。Caprice是独一无二的，它没有一般的学院派中世纪风格乐队的沉闷，它和Ataraxia的神圣相去甚远，它也不同于The Soil Bleeds Black的民间小调式风格，听Caprice的音乐，你可以感受到另一种神圣――简直不属于人间的声音，虽然它就真实存在于你的耳边，但是你永远也触摸不到那个只属于精灵和仙女的世界。Caprice的音乐就像乐队的名字一样，跟我的种种奇思妙想发生了不可思议的化学反应，就像 某年某月某一天醒来的时候突然置身于古老的森林中，仙女们在身边轻快的吟唱，于是静静地屏住呼吸，生怕即使稍重一点的呼吸声，也会吓跑那些嬉戏的精灵。

Caprice组合成立于1996年。同年首张专辑Mirror录制完成。98年他们自己发行了这张作品，其中包含了组合多年来创作的各种风格的作品。98年11月后，Caprice确立了自己的音乐方向，他们称之为森林精灵音乐，一种混合仙乐与新古典风格的声响，浓郁的学院气质。2000年7首歌的Songs of Innocence and Experience小专辑录制完成并发售，创作灵魂Anton Brejestovski将它献给了William Blake，与莫扎特和贝多芬同时代的预言/幻想诗人。本专辑歌词直接摘选自他的作品。就是这张作品引来了远在法国的黑暗新贵Prikosnovenie的目光。他们邀请Caprice参与厂牌一些主题合辑的创作。

2001年奇谭的最新专辑，森林精灵音乐，Anton Brejestovski将它献给了JRR Tolkien创作的伟大神话史诗The Lord of the Rings以及Brian Froud和Alan Lee的Faeries。这些故事深深打动了Anton Brejestovski，他甚至决定要为其做一个系列。这系列的首部着重描绘了林间仙子的神话。歌词直接引用了The Lord of the Rings中的文字。纯正的古典音乐剧，充满灵气的女声，动听的管弦乐。12首浓郁学院气质的新古典作品，不温不火。
