前几年就听到这首，真的好喜欢，就各种找找找歌词，最后被我找到了。然后连续听了好几个月。刚在做作业的时候，听着echoes of the rainbow，李治廷的，跟这首有点相似。然后就想起valder fields！！！

我觉的吧，每个人都有每个人的解释。我去谷歌了下其他外国人怎么看待这首歌曲的，这是这个人中国男孩提问：

Update: when i am listening to a chinese song,i can tell exactly what it means...but this one...i LOVE it,but so vague to me..

一个外国友人的回答（ta的回答有些跟我想的一样，一个热爱生活的男孩，因为迟到没有申请到这个工作，没关系，还有另外一个，百货公司，可是别人说他那里总会有拖欠，而且只有暂时的心水。（我感觉这里是他自我安慰，没关系的，做这个也可以！）

我是这么理解这段话的，她躺在地上穿着Valder field的礼服，已经熟睡。

我们同意council（有点政府的意思）应该拿走他的房间钥匙，以防他／她出来，然后过两天后在valder field 找到。（这里就好玩了，我去油管还有别的网站指的是女的她（she），但是也有些是he（他），我听了很多遍我觉的是he，因为他前面是 in case he，那读快点的话，in ca se（s的音）然后接上he 就容易误以为是she啦。我觉的这段话就是，可能是一个上了年纪的老人，很喜欢Valder fields，因为它很美！经常跑出去，然后忘记回来，别人总是要去找他。所以他们想把他所在房间里。在欧洲有些老人福利很好，可以通过council 去申请房间，或者房屋住的。
好吧，反正每个人的理解都是不一样的～

我更喜欢老外的理解，因为更贴近这首歌曲的意思。

To me it sounds like a memory about children playing and imagining.
