在60s 70s之交，没有别的摇滚音乐人形象比他更古怪了。（Syd Barrett可能算一个，但气质上还是有些不同。）这张的音乐上也是这样：像是神志被迷住（但没到因药物产生无止的幻象的地步），被带到一个充满old-fashioned circus figure的time zone里，唱着一些与现实错位的童谣。
