跟On the Corner一样，是Miles插电后最Loose与Free的作品，几乎是double quartet的配置类似Coleman的《Free Jazz》，即兴部分偶尔也接近Free Jazz，但每个曲目的主题与段落还是挺明确的，结构很清晰与严谨。节奏组有很多摇滚的律动和非洲音乐的律动，一言概括：”The musical result flows from basic rock patt... 跟On the Corner一样，是Miles插电后最Loose与Free的作品，几乎是double quartet的配置类似Coleman的《Free Jazz》，即兴部分偶尔也接近Free Jazz，但每个曲目的主题与段落还是挺明确的，结构很清晰与严谨。节奏组有很多摇滚的律动和非洲音乐的律动，一言概括：”The musical result flows from basic rock patterns to hard bop textures, and at times, even passages that are more characteristic of free jazz.”，这跟On the Corner后人很难接近，甚至模仿的像的作品都没有。 (展开)
