Obiymy Doschu — Son (2017)

注：唱词是乌克兰语，乐队主页提供了英语版，专辑标题也不是儿子的意思，对应Dream。

Obiymy Doschu这支来自乌克兰的冷门乐队实在令我大呼惊艳！在距离他们发布首专过去八年后，他们在2017年带来了精心制作的新专辑《Son》（不是儿子的意思，而是乌克兰语里“梦想”之意）。乐队在官网上这样说明——72分钟，11首歌，15个音乐家，包括一个弦乐四重奏，10个音效工程师，在3个城市的7个不同的工作室录制200小时才完成。这的确是一张制作的太过精心的专辑呀！他们的风格像是交响+金属，但被归于crossover，这点我也很理解，因为的确又有一些流行元素。说他们是交响，但又比现在的前卫交响更古典一些，弦乐四重奏乐队的加持令他们古典味浓厚，弦乐大气、优美、典雅。说他们是金属，但是离现在的极端金属很远，更像是重型，但恰到好处，一切都为主题服务。因此，乐队和那些烂大街的交响金属不好比，显得高级多了。官网上对自己的音乐又道：“复杂，美丽，诗意的摇滚音乐与郁郁葱葱的弦乐安排，进步，新古典主义，新民谣与后摇，这是完善了十多年的歌曲。”的确如此啊！我首先感到的就是乌克兰语也太好听了（和俄语当然很像），主唱的功力深厚，收放自如，而且多声部合唱也安排得很到位，几乎没有瑕疵，一听就是经过深思熟虑的。其次，弦乐与摇滚相得益彰，互相弥补与升华，加上长笛和萨克斯，多器乐令人眩目，却又不会喧宾夺主。专辑的主题是讲述了一个人在现代都市主义的全球化世界中所面临的困难和困难，从她的最低点到某种自由状态，即从死亡到重生，可以说很切合现代精神。这绝对是2017年最好的前摇专辑之一。
