Getting lost, looking for the answer...
Having been listening to this the entire day, still find it too hard to express my feelings. So complicated, so contradictory, calling for deeper thoughts, typically Haochen Zhang.
Yet I don't like his Kinderszenen, which sounds so cold that it lacks certain innocence and charm (some parts are nice, though). Then Liszt's Ballade No. 2 is great, but my favorites here are certainly his Janáček Sonata 1. X. 1905 and Brahms Op.117, which are really really wonderfully interpreted, very much to my taste, I just love them!
This recording is mysterious, I can't put it into proper words, only listening to it continuously, getting lost, thinking, looking for the answer...
