Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds 《The Boatman's Call》

最近都在听Nick Cave的东西，原本想介绍一下比较新的那张《No More Shall We Part》，甚至最新的《Nocturama》。但又听到了这张相对早一点的《The Boatman's Call》。
“船夫的呼唤”，一个未知的暧昧隐喻。忧伤而美丽的曲风贯穿整张专辑。
这些歌就像一首首诗：

很难想象前一张专辑唱尽谋杀和死亡的Nick，在这张专辑中如此的柔情。这首歌还有另一个名字，“I Do Love Her So”，你很容易明白他唱的什么。“树中的微风细语，低声轻吟着我爱她，她的手缠绕在我身上，在莱姆树凉亭下。”

这或许是整张专辑我最喜欢的一首歌。有点让我想起陈升的《晚安，母亲》，尽管我并不清楚它们的先后。有点相似，都是背景一个粗哑的嗓音深情吟唱，前景一个低沉的嗓音缓缓独白。没有听过的话，你很难感受到它的味道。两首歌都将各自的情感表达得淋漓尽致。不同的是，《晚安，母亲》中，感情深沉而高亢，《Green Eyes》中，Nick却仿佛在痛苦的呻吟，一个男人脆弱的内心。“抱紧我，再抱紧我，不要告诉我的你的名字；这个夜晚远比白天愚蠢；把我留在充满敌意的睡梦中；离开时轻点声，小姐。”
