Hi friends,
Summer is officially here! Well… almost. It’s actually 12 days away but who’s counting? I’m so excited to share with you some BIG news! My new single “Center Of It” hits radio TODAY. “Center Of It” will be on my new album The Upside Of Down coming out this August! I wrote this one with my good friend Ben Glover. The core concept of this song is very simple: God is here from the beginning to the end.
Romans 5:8 says: “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Think about that for a second. What’s amazing is this is really a simple concept, but for some reason it’s so hard for us to grasp at times. It’s easy to feel alone when you are in your weakest moments and forget Christ’s sacrifice for us. No matter what we’ve done, no matter what situation we find ourselves in, no matter how hard life is, Christ never leaves. He is always there. He will be with you. He’s in the center of it.
My prayer is that this song reaches you wherever you are at. Listening to this song was pretty crazy after I recently got out of the hospital. We already wrote and recorded the it long before my injury happened, but it was just what I needed to hear… that reminder that God has His hand on all areas of my life. No matter what I’m going through, He’s right there with me.
