Ⅲ.分离的钟声
我打算写一篇矫情文，没有什么音乐评论上技术含量
围观者慎重。
不论是post-Waters时代的第二张专辑，也不论是否为PF复合专辑，不论Wright恢复状态的完美表现或者Gilmour的歌词的完美。The Division Bell在我六年以前初听时，以及四年以前初遇，在我心中占据的地位都是PF任何其他一张专辑不能比拟，纵然The Wall和Dark side of the Moon在音乐史上的地位是如何的超然和历史意义，我不想讨论这张专辑在音乐方面的感觉或者成就，丢掉一贯的理性来看待一张专辑，脑子里只剩过去的各种场景和即将论文即将答辩即将滚蛋，我只记得当年讨论这张专辑的那个场景。
好吧我怀旧了难忘了
The Division Bell不再是敲的不列颠议会的投票，而是学生生活时代的结束的钟声，也是把我在四年在成都剩下的东西和记忆，在High Hopes的几声钟鸣中全部带走。
“最喜欢那张PF？”
“The Division Bell，我听的第一张PF，惊为天籁。”
“Wearing the inside out?”
“嗯”

每次一个人安静听这张都会听到跪
Cluster One - 鬼魅一样的Wright键盘和极具个人特色的Gilmour吉他预示着在The Final Cut的最后一声爆炸之中，脱离了水爷之后的PF，没有水爷皇帝一般的专制之后的PF
What Do You Want From Me - Blues/Funk来自于
芝加哥式的摇滚，Glimour自己称这首歌为“a straight blues tune”，整个riff和solo都很低，说悲恸也不为过

Poles Apart - 可能是全专辑最不起眼的一首，Division的钟声被Glimour的嗓音所打断，最后的solo依旧很亮
Marooned - Glimour将他的Black Stratocaster玩得淋漓尽致的另一个巅峰，没有Shine On Your Crazy Diamond那么迷幻，更多的是听觉上的享受
A Great Day for Freedom - 除掉这首歌本身处于Eastern Bloc解体的时代和对于Berlin Wall的暗喻以及PF一贯抨击时事的风格，仅仅是一首向往自由的歌，会相当的振奋
Wearing the Inside Out - Final peak of Richard Wright, Fantastic.

Take it back - 这首歌和它所在的封面内页一样，没什么亮点，包括歌词也是
Coming Back To Life - Blues化严重的前奏solo，那感觉就是像在召唤已经沉睡千年的人苏醒一样，Glimour总能够让人感官上享受到的感觉和脑中所臆想的场景做到惊人的吻合
Keep Talking - Steven Hawkings的Keep Talking音乐版，在人类想象力被释放以后，人类便开始学会了讲话
Lost for Words - 更宁愿是一首纯器乐而不是演唱，而且可以和上一首形成对比不是么
High Hopes - 代表PF录音室的最后高潮，也是Floyd最后的故事。其歌词寓意其实也是对PF自己的展望吧，这30年来PF自己一路走过来的事情，Wish you were here的Syd，在68年扬言和Sgt.Pepper巅峰一决高下的黎明的风笛手才华横溢的Syd Barret，水爷专制的70年代，月之暗面第一名至今无人无专辑可破的月之暗面，直至post-waters，在division bell完美发挥的Wright、Mason和Glimour，到Pulse，整个20世纪后半年代紧握迷幻前卫脉搏的PF，他们就是一个时代，一块丰碑。这一首High Hopes就是他们30年以来的心声。
