我非deerhunter的粉儿，也不会唤他们“小鹿”。但就在某个散落着雨雾的早晨，deerhunter的声音从心底火热蒸腾，寒冷紧绷的神经舒展了，我心血来潮，掉进雨中，不管不顾……
千禧年来，眼见后摇乐团重复自我，行将没落，好似旷野行者般的底特律独立阵地kranky华丽转身，把一些充斥暗色调优美氛围的迷幻摇滚推广开来。Bradford Cox，这个患怪病的人，其新作正是kranky风采的最好诠释。这个恃才放旷的男子，他的音乐就好像梦，现实难以企及，却又是一个激动人心的现实！新歌+旧作，25首，缓缓流趟的旋律为载体，呈现自我与外在及内心的关系，以及与之保持的疏离感，比如“little kids”、“Nothing Ever Happened”。这种疏离感使病人得以对照记忆与真实之间细微层次，谈论身世，家庭，童年，流失和生命。
犹如一个停留在时间以外的诉说者，Cox的声音沉着剥离个人回忆在时间中的内核，以一种清谈的形式，将它的黑暗与光亮，呈现在多年新旧听者的面前，如那首萦绕耳侧的“广场恐惧症”。而bonus cd<Weird Era Cont>，则属于思省的层面，坦率的讨论，涉及天分、交际、孤立……都是清淡洗练，直率深入。
回过头来再去看deerhunter组建以来不长的几年，从最开始的《turn it up faggot》到大红大紫的《Cryptograms》，再到现在的《Microcastle》封面头颅状的眼球，总感觉到其内心里那些精致复杂又让人着迷的东西在延续和变换着，如同穿越月光夜色的清亮笛声，在这样平凡到令人生厌的生活里，看到了一支黑色的花朵，以皎洁的姿态绽放；或者，又在这种万花筒般虚华变幻的世界里，令人暗自沉醉，只感到世界与我无关。
