专辑介绍及现场版曲目
1997年Fleetwood Mac在加州的Burbank举行了一场演唱会，现场专辑《The Dance》由此而来，这是Fleetwood Mac经典五人组的最后一张专辑，他们自十年前1987年的《Tango in the Night》以来就没有一起发行过专辑。
《The Dance》发行后登顶Billboard 200榜首，前40名的位置占据了七个多月。在销量方面，《The Dance》成为美国有史以来第五大最畅销的现场专辑，在八周内售出100万张，最终在全球销售超过6000000张，DVD版本销量为135000份，巡演的票房收入为3600万美元。
专辑封面照片由David LaChapelle拍摄，Mick Fleetwood在封面上重现了他在乐队最成功的专辑《Rumours》封面上的姿势，Lindsey Buckingham拿着《Fleetwood Mac》专辑封面上使用的手杖。
