这张6首单曲的合集其实也可以叫做是Echolyn在2012年发布的第二张同名专辑的扩展曲目（乐队官网上是这么注明的），每首歌都相当不错，有一些甚至是我的至爱（比如Accumulated Blur，演唱时增加的黄铜乐器实在太过惊艳，This is How We Left It也是如此），并不比《Echolyn》逊色，甚至我认为可以将几首所谓额外曲目替换原专辑的一些弱势歌曲，这可以让我提高对他们再一次同名专辑的评价。进入新千年的Echolyn早就已经摆脱了温和的巨人的阴影——或许是从Cowboy Poems Free这张开始——简单来说，他们变得更加现代化，当然一切渐进前卫的部分依然可以清晰可见，但更加抒情、简单、旋律化，甚至能听到一些Radiohead的影响了，而内容主题也很现代意识流。不过可惜虽然乐队经常对专辑的专辑做出繁冗的解释，但对《Echolyn》和扩展曲目倒没有。
