英国歌手Lily Allen的歌曲总是让人感觉很欢快，即便这首她的主打歌曲《Smile》讲述的其实是和男友分手后找朋友给他点教训的故事，这个小女生歪着嘴开心的唱：“At first when I see you cry, yeah it makes me smile。 ”哈哈，看见你哭我就想笑。
这首《Smile》是莉莉爱伦根据对前男友分手后求和的耻笑写成的，讲述了自己18岁时沉浸于爱情美妙之时突然被男友抛弃的故事。这个MV讲的多有意思啊：她偷偷在他的咖啡里放泻药，支使小混混在街头扁他，把他家弄得一片狼藉，看着倒霉的男友在自己面前大倒苦水，心里一个劲偷笑还装作若无其事。歌词第三句就出现了fucking这样的词，奇怪的是我搜索歌词时很多在此处写作But you were doing that girl next door，难道是此歌曲另有和谐版？ 歌词我附在了本文后面。
《Alright, Still》这张专辑是Lily Allen21岁的时候发布的，长相古怪精灵的她歌曲也不像很多这一岁数的女歌手那般简单的靠着甜美的声音吸引人，而是充满才气。专辑风格也很多样化，能感觉出其中混合着流行、爵士还有HipHop和舞曲。歌词毫无顾忌、曲风充满才气。我曾经看过欧洲的MTV奖，其中设立的艺人选择奖，大多数人选择了 Amy Winehouse，除此之外则大多认为Lily Allen是最有才气的歌手。
这张 《Alright, Still》可不只《Smile》一首歌曲值得一听，我还很喜欢《Fridy Night》、《LDN》、《Littlest Thing》，简单的说，每一首歌都很有意思。其中《LDN》我还看过新闻被科学家们证明是最能让人开心的歌曲。这个任性、嚣张的英国小女生用她的歌曲散发着自己的毫无顾忌的才气。
莉莉爱伦的另类尖锐，还不仅于音乐创作，她常说的一个词是“Shit”，她讨厌一本正经地拍造型照，最喜欢摆的姿势是右手叉腰左手夹一枝烟。 她骂贝克汉姆，骂S Club 7，骂一切不入她法眼的流行明星。歌坛大姐大麦当娜Madonna，也成为她炮轰讥笑的对象。在接受GQ杂志访谈时，莉莉批评麦当娜是史上最被高估、名不符实的流行歌手。 之后她也拒绝道歉，除此之外，LiLy Allen还经常爆发惊人言论，比如奉劝女孩子不要节食，批评时尚服饰等等。
