聊聊最爱的《Psyche》
《Heligoland》这张专辑里面，最爱的还是《Psyche》这支歌，甚至已经达到镇定我情绪的作用。听这首歌的时候，我仿佛坐在一辆飞驰的汽车上，透过玻璃触摸抽象画一般的风景，阳光从稀疏的叶片裂缝中落下，留下叮叮当当的响声。

里面的歌词也很有趣，像在读一首叙事诗。不过从 3D 的说法来看，我们应该无从获得其中的隐喻了。他在这篇文章详细解释了对《Heligoland》每首歌的看法：
首先，《Psyche》这首歌的旋律灵感取自 Steve Reich（我还特意去补了课，发现《Music for 18 Musicians》被之前看过的舞剧《雨》用了！难怪非常非常熟悉），即把一个旋律片段加速并堆叠在一起（Do you know what, I'm going to fast-track this. I'm going to get a classical album and then I'm going to make it jump and then I'm going to sample each jump.），所以我们能听到一段快速而重复的吉他旋律背景。
然后 3D 和 Neil 把这段旋律呈现给 Martina Topley-Bird，She fell in love with it and came back with these very bizarre lyrics（但她本人从未把歌词写下来过）。3D 和我的反应有点类似，这首歌他听起来像闭上眼感受到水或阳光穿越树林的微微闪光，在眼皮上留下的残影。我们能从这一张拼贴画里回忆起曾经历过的每个夏天。同时，你会感知到永生，以及对已逝去和未曾发生的事物的忧郁。但听到这首歌时突然意识到，一切都将结束，我们有恐惧，也有满足的时刻。

“Gain the wolf”这句可以将“wolf”理解为残酷或贪婪的象征，以及有 unknown Tattoo wrote "gain the wolf - gain the ability to hunt to track using your sences”。

“Twigs snap”是指 broken bones。
“No canoe, only you and me alone in the au t opsy”意思是“Her child is dead and she is alone on the autopsy with him, She just sings it a very weird way but it makes the most sense.”（是吗我很疑惑，也许这确实能和“Dissolving who we are”呼应）。
