星战女王骗了我，但我会继续听the shins
好吧，好吧。我承认了，之前从来没听过这个乐队。直到看了Garden State在Natalie Portman的一声令下，迅速跟进到电驴上下了这张专辑。
电影中，NP扮演的女猪在医院里邂逅了男猪，她摘下那个冬天御寒能力一流的大耳机往男猪头上一戴，说到：You gotta hear this one song, it'll change your life.接着飘出了这首new slang的旋律。
从来没有看到过给乐队这么打广告的，要知道不过就是个21世纪才成立专辑也就发过一两张的独立乐队，既不是无所不能无所不有的ebay也不是made in China Designed in Cali体现全球化精髓的ipod，砸就能让美丽睿智清新脱俗从不闹绯闻的哈佛心理系才女好莱坞乖乖女的NP这么赤裸裸滴给他们打广告？于是怀着无比好奇的心情开始接受能change your life的音乐的洗礼.....
当然听了整张专辑下来，觉得星战女王骗了我，我的生活和我的人生观世界观没有发生任何的改变，但是却发现自己因为突飞猛进听外国indie的境界无形中成为了一撮所谓的装逼文艺青年的一员。这是我万万没有想到的。（啊扯远了，就看我这种写评论的破功力我还是可以和他们划清界限的。）
回到正题，the shins的音乐很有60年代风，带有轻摇滚和民谣元素又很乐观积极向上，怪不得经常有人认为他们受到the beach boys的较多影响，类似sunshine rock风格。但是，等等...你多听几遍也顺便再听听Zach Braff这小子选出来的OST中其他歌曲包括coldplay，cary Brothers，froufrou等的作品你不难感觉到整张ost的闷骚基调。嗯，没错就是闷骚。The shins若不是有这样的气质绝对不会被ZB选上还一选就两首，他们的歌初听的确有那么点阳光海岸的感觉，但是多听几遍下来，天马行空的歌词，清澈却略带迷幻的唱腔却会让人感受到一丝淡淡的哀伤。这只来自新墨西哥州的独立流行乐队果然是得到了英伦的闷骚真传啊。自从听了The shins 加上Garden state的OST，我之后又莫明滴追了Zach Braff的新片加OST。这才猛然发现虽然我的生活没有改变但是我那烩饭般的听歌品位又被注入了新的元素啊。

很天马行空的爱情歌曲，听了好多遍再研究了一番歌词，太诗歌的感觉，无法很好理解。大致感觉是男孩怀念离开的女友和逝去的岁月，希望回到在一起的时光和当初那种可以没心没肺无忧无虑的状态。
