Porcupine Tree1995年的三专依然是pf早期的迷幻风格，总体而言我愿意称之为“空间氛围电子风暴异域史诗”。
The Sky Moves Sideways (Phase One)可能是专辑中最好的歌，也容纳了所有的特点。它的开头是常见的太空摇滚典范，一段演唱后进入一个电子风暴阶段，随后有一些异域风味的打击乐，随后结合长笛再次进入电子空间，最后慢慢归于虚无，当中有一些颇有禅意的疏离吉他点缀。7.5分。
Dislocated Day的异域风味更加浓厚，总体上无功无过，7分。
The Moon Touches Your Shoulder发展较为缓慢，最后的高潮还不错，7分。
Prepare Yourself只是上一首的延续，2分钟的器乐，不知为何要单独列出，6分。
Moonloop或许是专辑中我最不喜欢的歌，它的前一半展现了太空迷幻的自我发展，晦暗不明而朦胧疏离的风格延续了近十分钟，直到最后有一些爆发，6.5分。
The Sky Moves Sideways (Phase Two)延续了Moonloop的套路（因此依然较为老套），但音乐上更加多变和明晰，五分多钟时和 (Phase One)一样有一些太空禅意的演奏，最后的吉他solo缓慢而尖锐，足以令人欣赏，但不会觉得有什么特别的，7分。
总体而言，[The Sky Moves Sideways]或许是Porcupine Tree的shine on，但它太过俗套，在浩瀚的太空摇滚音乐中并不突出，是一张可以一听但不是必要存在的专辑。我认为只要听The Sky Moves Sideways (Phase One)就够了。
