Bic Runga, 半个中国人，在遥远的南半球的岛国上大放异彩。
她的样子很东南亚，普普通通的，大街上随便拉一个就长这样儿，这是最开始给我的印象。却没想到拥有这种长相的人会有这样的声音，平静、温和如同岛国翠绿草原上散落泛黄的阳光。声音改变了一切，再次细看她的脸，不漂亮，但却很有味道，坚韧含蓄的眼神和柔软丰厚的嘴唇形成了鲜明的对比。
Bic Runga从中学开始参与乐队，后被发掘而签约Sony Music，这张《Drive》于1997年- Bic 21岁的那年发行，推出后旋即在新西兰达到三白金销量，并于当地Tui awards(地位等同格莱美)连夺四大奖－－最佳专辑，最佳唱片，最佳演唱表演及最佳唱作人，后更成新西兰音乐史上销量最高的本地女歌手。
这张专辑里最喜欢的是Sway这首歌，轻快、流畅，年轻时候Bic的声音，诉说着恋爱中女孩的心情。
