The four piece band of Paul Dasiuk, Steve Bunka, Angelo Frassetto, and Kyle Kildaw have been catching solid reviews of their sophomore CD, Shoegazing, released in January '99.
Jared Kuemper engineered, mixed and produced the album at Night Deposit Studios in Calgary. It's the band second album, but the first that captures the feeling of what they're capable of live. All the songs on Shoegazing were written between February and May of '98 and extensively road-tested. The new album is simpler and more melodic.
The title, by the way, refers to bands that "look at their shoes" when they perform. "I guess it's tongue-in-cheek because that's totally not us," says Bunka.
