Aquilo Aquilo

Aquilo are a musical duo from Silverdale, Lancashire, England: Tom Highan and Ben Fletcher. They have received attention in two articles in The Guardian and on the American indie music blog Pigeons & Planes. Their track"You There" was chosen for BBC Radio 1's playlist on 12 June 2014.

Their music has been described as " soft, calm electro-pop" and" a ravishingly refined sort of dreamily sad electronica". Their song You There features in the trailer for 2014 independent drama Camp X-Ray.

On 8 December 2014, they released their second EP Human.

They appear on the BBC Radio 1 palylist for 2-8 Feburary 2015, in the "In New Music We Trust List", as announced on Radio 1's official Facebook page on 28 Janunary 2015.On 5 March 2015, their collaboration with popular disc jockey Vanic. "Losing You', was released onto YouTube and Soundcloud. It has so far accumulated over 3.4 million 'plays' as od 2 January 2016.
