This is a great album: vintage synthesizers, old school drum machines, elaborate rhythms, vintage sounding reverbs, and a deep and booming bass with a lovely texture. The electronic duo consist of two girls: Melissa and Busy. Don't let their hipster outfits, lesbian haircut, and brooklyn background fool you: their music don't fall into that stereotype and in fact, they get much more creative than that. Melissa and Busy were in the same rock band but they found themselves listening to old school funk and dance music more. They also love hiphop and at the same time, math rock; so they decide to do something together. If you are like me who easily become bored when listening to indie bands that sound similar, this is the album you should definitely check out.
