早就垂涎着写一些东西关于这首歌，但是害怕自己对这首歌有任何肤浅性或者偏差性的理解，所以一直忍耐着心中的冲动。看‘狼雨’的时候，觉得整部动画的配曲走的是自然偏野性曲风，在某种意义上主动的靠向了影片的画风。初听这首曲子的时候，没有特别的留意，觉得不过是整体风格下的小小产物。但是后来，在我看完整部动画开始漫音考据研究（我自创的词，因为本人有极度严重的音乐考据癖。。）的时候，发现了这首歌真正的甚至令人惊叹的魅力所在。
我完全不属于听歌喜欢关注歌词的人，往往我更关注的是曲调。曲调，音乐以及其所创造出来的意境的好坏对我来说是评价一首曲子的最重要的标准。歌词至多是第二位的。但是这首歌曲的魅力，毫无疑问的，落在了歌词部分，虽然音乐也很出彩，但是歌词的魅力远远的凌驾在这之上。其实这首曲子的风格，单抽出来听，我肯定会把它归到cowboy那圈，吉他的独奏，充满磁性和些许沙哑的男声，从一开篇就用有些慌张的节奏，向你开始了一连串的讲述。这些，对于我这个资深的cowboy迷来说，是标志性的讯号，传达着‘这是需要被关注的’气场。
歌词有点荒野，很哲学，很辨证，脱离了俗套的作词框架，也没有严肃做作的讲学态势，只是漠然的并且平静，甚至豁达的，通过貌似激动的语气，讲述着一个简单的事实：Some people get what some other people do not have。这是中心句，整首曲子都围绕着这个句子展开，但这，绝不是中心含义。我们都是矛盾体，并且这种矛盾所营造的气场也是对立矛盾着的。在其中，人们想要自己没有的，并特别想要别人有而自己没有的；忽视自己有的，特别的忽视了自己有的而别人所追求的；在惶惑之中，追逐着别人的背影，而同时又在被别人追逐着。就这样，形成了一个又一个复杂的巡回。但这种复杂，没有感情，没有色彩，只是像空气一样的，自然，流淌和存在于人性之中。
处于这种中立的整体氛围之中，Steve Conte的急促清爽并超脱一切的弹唱就显得异常的闲适和明媚，与众不同。就像清晨的时候，明媚的阳光从云雾之中凸现出来，让人有种淡淡的幸福感和愉悦感。因为，他不再追逐，不再跟随，不再游离不定，只是静静的站在原地，然后说now that I'm really just fine loving what I got.
