拍电影有制作人，做唱片有制作人，两者的作用其实差不多，但地位却是一天一地。一部电影的价值往往在导演身上，先有大牌导演再有大牌演员，导演根据电影选演员，所以导演在演员之上，提电影首先先提导演的大名；而制作人和乐手之间的关系正好相反，一张好的唱片让人记住的往往是乐队而非制作人，乐队选择制作人，制作人根据乐队做唱片，大牌乐队的盛名远远盖过制作人，“唱片导演”的作用是大大地被低估了，就像所有人都知道伟大的“披头士”乐队（The Beatles），但很少人提及乐队经典专辑的制作人菲尔-斯派克特（Phil Spector），也只有最近他被判谋杀罪成立才有人想起原来他就是帮“披头士”和约翰-列侬（John Lennon）做唱片的那位，太尴尬了。近几年似乎制作人们的地位稍微提高了，最好的例子就是布莱恩-依诺（Brian Eno）制作“酷玩”乐队的唱片《Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends》，“酷玩”乐队之所以能获得“格莱美”的肯定一半的功劳要记在布莱恩-依诺身上，于是关于他的一切信息又被翻了出来，人们才发现原来他是个比“酷玩”强悍一万倍的人物，Roxy Music前成员，氛围电子宗师，大卫-鲍依（David Bowie）、U2等等大牌都经过他的指点，制作人终于翻身了，主流界知道了他，而这些其实早该发生。 提这些只想说明制作人对于唱片的重要性，就像导演可以塑造演员一样，制作人也可以塑造乐队，经典专辑是经典乐队和经典制作人合作的产物，另外乐队的转型往往就要请来新的制作人，换人如换刀，天上掉下来个制作人，天作之合往往能产生意外的好效果。英伦老炮Jarvis Cocker请Steve Albini来当制作，这事听起来八竿子打不着，但却真的发生了，俩人的偶遇促成了合作的成型。Steve Albini是Grunge时期非常活跃的乐手兼制作人，The Jesus Lizard、Nirvana、Pixies悉数经过他的制作，他对硬摇滚显然更感兴趣，英式遇到硬摇滚生出来的会是什么？以换人如换刀的思维，Jarvis Cocker新专辑《Further Complications 》显然会更加硬、更加摇滚。 作为Pulp主唱的24年里Jarvis Cocker俨然成为Brit-pop时期里最重要的角色之一，尤其他一手好词不仅让同时代的乐队望尘莫及，更是成为当下乐队学习的典范，他的人生在21世纪之前已经完整，不再需要任何形式的补充来增加他英伦时代的光环，所以Jarvis Cocker需要新的方向，而这次车库复古的尝试就算第一步。诗人一般优美的Jarvis Cocker来唱车库味道的歌多少会让人不适应。新专辑先行单曲《Angela》用简单粗暴的吉他让这个45岁的老男人找到了摇滚的感觉，但是歌曲太简单了以至于这是Jarvis Cocker最没深度的歌曲。也许是他厌烦了多年来书生气太强的感觉，想要这回的洒脱，洒脱到什么程度？风格可以变，声音也可以变，《Caucasian Blues》里Jarvis Cocker深沉的男中音拉到了高音，摇滚！朋克！Jarvis Cocker变身Johnny Rotten！当然以上只是新Jarvis Cocker里少数让人不那么适应的地方，《Further Complications 》总体来说精彩依然，Jarvis Cocker就像一口老井，你永远也不知道这口井什么时候才会干涸，每下去一桶拉上来总是满满的井水。从Brit-pop到现在的车库“新人”，Jarvis Cocker长盛不衰的是他的歌词，一个能写出漂亮歌词的人他对音乐的理解不会错。“I met her in the museum of paleontology…and I make no bones about it”（《Further Complications》）会让你想到什么？《Common People》里一样的叙事手法!几十年前的东西他还在玩，《Common People》给了他太多东西，这是他事业的巅峰也是他的缩影，用一首歌来总结他的歌手生涯，这首再合适不过。睿智、幽默、自嘲Jarvis Cocker是所擅长的三点写歌惯式，更重要的是他唱的都是生活中遇到的事情，生活中他很个色，从英国移居到法国他成为彻底的局外人，这更增加了他的个色，所以从思想上他的确是个摇滚歌手，“not looking for a relationship, just a willing receptacle”（《I Never Said I Was Deep》），和妻子分手的Jarvis Cocker给我们的感觉就是个别人做什么自己偏不做什么的异类；将自己比喻为即将灭绝恐龙的《Angela》更像是他的自白书，他在担心在忧虑，在寻找继续摇滚下去的出路。中年危机遇到歌手危机，他这样的老油条不会有任何闪失。 Jarvis Cocker说他之所以还在继续唱歌是因为现实中他是个内向的人，唱歌给了他表达意见、抒发情怀的机会，这就是闷骚！“我告诉你，我再告诉你，我最后再说一遍，我想做你的爱人！”（《Leftovers》），闷骚之人自有可怕之处，往往爆发起来更惊人，Jarvis Cocker即是这样，他的身体里是浪子和诗人的结合，蓬头垢面，无所畏惧，原来他一直就是个朋克。 ....转载....

首先，专辑封面：虽然在寒冷的雪地，但是片中人穿着厚实，却却给人一种温暖的感觉。 似动似不动的站在照片正中位置。 曲目中morning ,star, balcony,spring,sky,这些单词所描述的景象都是我喜欢的。（以为补一句,但是没有出现我最喜欢的summer这个词) 再加上专辑名《morning star》. 这些种种侧面加重我喜欢它的理由。 morning star 一开始给我一种太空漫步的感觉，声音是如此的dream， you're my morning star 一遍一遍的重复使我想起了mavis的专辑《还有别的办法》里面的“You‘re My Sunshine”同样的无奈，同样的喜欢，同样地悲哀，同样的不自觉repeat,repeat again. 终于没有让我失望，summer这样快就出现在了。 on my balcony所描述的夏天早晨的阳台，适合在早晨起床拉开窗帘的适合听，如果旁边有恋人那就更适合了。 make the summer last forever 我的心声。但是秋天已经来了，夏天只是怀念。 夏天的感觉还没缓过劲来，另一个季节以到了。春天是万物复苏的时候，Flunk从一个特殊角度来展现，如此的精辟。 喜欢six seven time开始的鼓声。 专辑后面的歌曲，如此的忧伤。不再有了愉悦的心情。 一张越听越有味道的专辑。

在这个夏季一个无聊的夜晚,突然有了"找一个和这个季节名字有关的专辑"的想法. 于是就在网上搜索"summer, summertime, summer season, 夏季, 夏天........."每个关键字都跳出一大堆的相关信息, 我之所以在众多的专辑中选择了这张"Pale Sunday"的"Summertime". 主要原因有三个,说穿了也就是两个英语单词一幅画而已:sunday , summertime以及这张专辑的那个唯美的封面. 还有一个问题一只迷惑着我,到底封面上的花是甚么花呢?叫甚么名字?如果有谁知道,麻烦告诉一下! 听了过后,感觉自己的选择没有错.这张专辑的确好听,像这样一张专辑里面有那么多好听的曲子的CD在现在毕竟少之又少了. 总体上来看大部分歌给人感觉都很清新,让人有种愉悦的心情. 歌曲说的全部是青年男女之间的感情,歌词很浅显易懂....看了歌词,就不免会觉得有点悲伤,好像歌和爱情沾边的一般都是那种伤感的,很少有相反的. 第一首歌曲The white tambourine的歌词内容很有意思,由听到的鼓声和美妙歌声引出了一个令人着迷的女孩子.并且爱上了她.一个再简单不过的邂逅和感情经历. 第二首由Pale Sunday/Sineval Almeida作曲的Mary讲述了一对恋人里男方对女方的"爱". 歌词描述的意境很美. Under the moonlight a velvet kiss Don’t be shy, just close your eyes There’s too much love in your lips 歌曲"Sunday Morning"可以说是这张专辑里面我最喜欢的一首歌曲之一了. 它说描述的景象应该是每对恋人都向往的吧. 在一个温暖的太阳照射的星期天早晨(Sunday Morning),约上自己喜欢的人.躺在绿绿的草坪上,享受着温柔的阳光,柔软地草地还有和自己心爱地人在一起地那种甜蜜...... "She'll Never Be Mine"则讲述了一个不能和自己喜欢的人在一起的无奈. 很喜欢歌开始的那段歌词 there′s nothing else I can really do I tried my best, I gave myself to her and for a while I called it love 歌词对"爱"的定义我很认同. 专辑倒数第二首"A Safe Place"似乎让人明白了,在面对世界的种种变化的时候,Love这个Safe Place能抵御一切的change的攻击.透过歌词深处可以看出爱情不仅仅只是一种彼此甜蜜的享受同时也意味着一种巨大的责任. 夏天好-----一个多情的季节............. 交流QQ群号 40346698
