斯大林站的音乐

关于音乐，我曾经尝试去搞清那些流派们的区别。但就算脸蛋贴紧电脑屏幕怎么死记硬背，也无法将那些诸如重金属力量金属死亡金属搞清除。或许与我唯一接触的金属就是铁铜锡铝有关。 幸好如今已经完全将这些假学术的嗜好放弃，否则世上又要多一个满口流派的易中天。 Andrew Bird，精通小提琴，会弹吉他，还会运用舌头瞎乱翻转制造各种口哨声。 一边拉着小提琴，一边用懒散的声音唱个性分明的曲调。1973年出生的此人，似乎意识到自己已经是个老男人。在尝试了前几张专辑简直囊括了所有的曲风的情况下，他开始尝试走流行的Indie Rock道路。但是，在Indie Rock泛滥的今天，已经越来越难以分辨什么是正品。而独立男声的声音如果不特别怪，就几乎分辨不出来。加上人人都标榜自己为独立摇滚，人人都标榜你自己只听独立摇滚。本来摇滚就够大众广义和牛逼，再加上一个独立，巨牛无比。 所以我发现自己注意力越来越不能集中。全神贯注这种词语已经无法形容我们这一代了。所以只好退而求其次，能讨到一点顺耳舒心的音乐，就足够。 注：发现其中一首Heretics，开头居然有少年先锋队队歌的音调。昏厥了一会儿。 这首歌中的小提琴也是相当迷人。

我觉得我写的所有专辑评论都是“力荐”。 可能对于那些矜持和假装矜持的人来说，这样有点太走火入魔了。 但我宁愿对Ian Brown走火入魔。 听的第一张Ian的专辑就是这张《Golden Greats》。 后来再顺便听了那张据说是“被认为单飞以来最棒的”《Solarized》。 不知为啥，可能是“惊艳”一词的心理作用，导致我对《Solarized》基本没感觉。或许是我口味的原因：更偏重迷幻电子。总之，不论在什么时候听到那首《Set My Baby Free》，都会不由自主心情好上一阵。 The Stone Roses（石玫瑰）单飞后，Ian沉寂了一段时间。接着就带来了石破天惊的《Unfinished Monkey Business》。当然，这仅仅是一个复出的姿态。不过就是这样一个高挑的姿态、Mokey的造型，就足以让原来的玫瑰迷们望眼欲穿、饥肠辘辘了。 不过，Ian似乎并不预备走原来的SR路线，而是投入了电音怀抱。于是就出现了这张《Golden Greats》。 电音，本身是个大概念，如同ROCK一般。幸好我已经不停留在“只要有鼓声的就是摇滚”的阶段了，但是仍然傻不拉几不能明白为什么有些怪声音也能被定义为“Rock”。哎，看来连流派也越来越抽象了。。 搞笑的是，上次看湖南电视台快乐大本营。一个叫“20088”的毛孩儿乐队出场。主持人说“国内最小的摇滚乐队”，他们主唱小声提醒“电声……”，主持人马上改口“啊，电声”。 孩子都能给灌输“我们搞的是电声”，但是他们明明只表演了一首原创《2008快点来》和一首《We Will Rock You》啊？！ 下次建议这小小乐队写首《We Will Brit-pop You》。更绝。

After this release M.Craft went underground for a year and a half to record an album that was hampered by a series of disasters including two false starts which blew almost the whole budget and a serious rock'n'roll guitar amp electrocution which made it hard to move for a while... but despite the odds the brilliant album, 'Silver&Fire', now all good record stores across the UK. 'Silver&Fire' will also soon be released in the USA, Australia, France, and hopefully other many good holiday destinations. Martin Craft is an Australian who lives in London, UK. in 1991, at 15, he co- founded classic Australian band 'Sidewinder' whose fire burned bright throughout the nineties.. always troubled, they split in 2000.. wanderlust led Martin to london where he has lived ever since. Kevin Barnes代表Of Montreal的第七张唱片继续发扬了他的传统气质：挑起我们对于六十年代流行音乐的回忆。充满了当时最吸引人的流行元素。 但是同时加入了二十一世纪electro-cinematic的先锋disco风格， 这给他那种精巧却又有意拖音的演唱方式带来了奇妙的变化。性感的和声会让人联想到the Polyphonic Spree occasionally。 歌曲的题目可能最容易误导听众，因为"Wraith Pinned To The Mist (And Other Games)" 不是在讨论一个最愚蠢的脑袋能不能想象随着音乐用脚趾打节拍是什幺情景，而 "Forecast Fascist Future" 也不能简单地被定义为英国的Beach Boys。或者是一栋用Ray Davies最和谐的白日梦铺了水泥的房子，管道一直延伸到一个幼儿园里-有个叫Frank Zappa的小孩子在那睡觉。 另外，虽然"Our Spring Is Sweet, Not Fleeting"只有一分钟左右，但是听这首歌时你能感觉到你身处一片迷迭香中。 对于老听众，就用不着唠唠叨叨地介绍"obvious"了，他们都能听出Of Montreal的典型风格，但是，可能一直都被忽视的是他们音乐里最原始的娱乐性。（另外，这让他们听起来像是支对High Llamas致敬的band，也很不公平）。事实上，你完全可以让The Sunlandtic Twinsto就在那里播放，继续干别的事。然后看看要过多久你才能发现他们的音乐早已深深进入了你的头颅，使你永远不能离开那些听起来深傲玄妙的胡言乱语。
