, Released : September 28, 1999 , Released : March 20, 2012 十三年，终于修炼成仙。 这十三年的时间，The Cinematic Orchestra早已是功成名就，Ninja Tune或许是为了感谢/嘉奖他们，更是特地建立了新的厂牌——"Motion Audio"。没有人会怀疑这支天才团体的实力和地位，我也从来不会怀疑他们在Royal Albert Hall的现场是那块场地史上最好最震撼的现场。(乱入... 这十三年的时间，The Cinematic Orchestra的风格一直没有太大的变化，粗略地说，大部分作品总体都是以Jazz（Acid Jazz）打底再辅以Soundtrack化的Downtempo/Trip-Hop元素进行创作。沿着这个方向，他们做到了极致，在这个方向上前进的The Cinematic Orchestra所作出的曲子给我的感觉便是——Magical 但恐怕没人能想到，在这第十三个年头，或者准确的说是去年年底，这帮天才们似乎又进化了一次。 由Magical, 变成了Heavenly. 给现在这支The Cinematic Orchestra的风格下个定义的话，或许应该是: "Jazz Classical Crossover". 去年年底在"Motion Audio"发行的那两首为默片和所做的同名配乐曲便已经让我惊叹了。当时第一次听的时候，可以说一刻都没有走神，每一个精心雕琢的音符都能绑住听者的情绪。从的9分30秒到曲终，或许是他们这13年来最让人赞叹最能打动人的一段创作。同样的，也是毋庸质疑的Masterpiece级别作品，宏大，剔透的交响诗。 除了这两首早前发行过的曲子，专辑里的其他曲子，首首都能将The Cinematic Orchestra的这种变化体现得淋漓尽致，越做越精致，越做越完美。 如果说前期的The Cinematic Orchestra还会因为风格的关系让部分人不适应的话，那现在这支The Cinematic Orchestra的创作，已经平易近人得实在太难太难让人讨厌起来了，这或许就是我把他们现在这种Crossover称作"Killer"的原因。他们能用那些完美，用心的创作杀掉你对他们的厌恶。 ———————————————————————————

Roedelius and Bock pulled off the trick, this sleight of hand, with the greatest of ease.” Hans-Joachim Roedelius，这是关于这张唱片不得不提的一个人。如果知道Kluster或是Cluster的话，那想必这个名字对你来说必定不会陌生。Kluster和Cluster这两个大名鼎鼎的Krautrock/Experimental project都是出自这个德国的实验/氛围音乐界的传奇人物之手。 而在2010年，这位年近八十的老人，和Onnen Bock一起组建了Qluster这个新的project。 意为"Answer"。而整张专辑实际上只是一首曲子(本人并不确定，或许存在听感上的误差)，以"Nacht In Berlin"为名被分割成了7段。 与之前的两张Studio Album有所不同，之前的Qluster其实主要还是以Drone Ambient为核心再辅以少量Electro-Acoustic进行创作，而这张，只在第4曲进行了Ambient式的过渡，在第7曲以Ambient音场收尾，几乎完全摒弃了之前的创作方式，只留下这张专辑最出彩的部分——钢琴。 但真正令我意外的是Qluster对钢琴的使用方向—— Jazz Piano。 虽然的确是两架钢琴没错，虽然的确像是双奏，但其实这个概括不完全准确，只是在听完可以说是整张专辑最完美的一曲"Nacht In Berlin 1" 之后，很自然就会感觉到那些忧郁的Jazz化Piano段落。更确切点说，那是”Keith Jarrett式“ 的Piano。而对这首长曲的精妙分段，更是让这张唱片给听众的听感更加美妙，分割后的前三曲基调伤感，再以Ambient段落过渡，紧接着是两首总体偏向Minimal式的曲子，最后的收尾已经显得不那么重要了，因为分割过的那五首曲子实在完美。 This is one Melancholic Night In Berlin. 今年到目前为止我最喜欢的一张唱片, 胜于The Cinematic Orchestra的。
