作为一个不死忠任何乐队、歌手，只喜爱好听的音乐的外行人，我就随便说几句。不和阁下胃口的话还请包涵。 听过Mansun的三张专辑及几张EP，基本按发行时间顺序听的。 第一张Attack of the Grey Lantern可以用惊艳来形容。有很长时间没有哪张专辑这样，第一次听就吸引了我的耳朵。有几个星期什么其他歌都听不了，天天脑中回想的就是这张专辑中各首歌的旋律。我毫不犹豫把它归为Brit-pop中的极品，在我心中的地位甚至迅速超过了Radiohead的OK Computer, Placebo的Sleeping with Ghost, Muse的Black Holes and Revelations（虽然很多人不喜欢这张）等………… 这张专辑几乎拥有一切我喜爱的元素：耐听的旋律，辛辣的歌词，华丽的嗓音，还有最重要的——专辑整体连贯性。不用烟不用酒只要有Mansun的这张碟，我就可以High了。 于是迫不及待地订购了Mansun的两张CD，又下载了一些专辑。也许是熟悉了Mansun的风格，第一次的震撼没有了。 回望Six还颇有另类的因素，但这张Little Kix怎么听怎么觉得少了些什么。听了几遍，的确有些出色的歌，但总的说来缺乏统一的主题，Love is...甚至让我感觉自己在听一张流行乐专辑。我并不是说pop不好，只是与Mansun前两张相比，Little Kix实在是逊色不少。 也许Attack of the Grey Lantern太完美了，成了一个难以超越的纪念碑。因此，Mansun的正式音乐之旅，只能在“Goodbye”中略显仓促地结束了吧。

专辑：Country Falls 艺人：Husky Rescue 风格：Electronic, Indie, Down-tempo 地区：芬兰 最先吸引我的是乐队的名字：Husky Rescue。第一反应是那个爱斯基摩大狗，脑中浮现出一片冰原，几只husky静静站在雪橇前，望向一侧，头顶、身上有着些微细碎的雪花。 这印象一直持续到刚才，我无聊地查了一下字典，发现husky在作形容词时指“声音沙哑的”。也就是说，被拯救的不是大狗，而是我们…… Sweet little kitten，很点题得沙沙哑哑的，毛茸茸的，暖洋洋的……开篇的贝司一响起，眼泪就差点掉下来了……当我还沉浸在渲染的恬淡忧伤中时，第二首Summertime cowboy却突然清晰了起来，不管节奏配乐还是声音。浓重的牛仔风，大方坦荡。 New light of tomorrow又慢了下来。这首歌算他们最出名的作品之一了。淡然的男声，电声划出弧线的美妙，奇特的张力像是湖水。 像是两首歌一个轮回，Sunset drive节奏再次快且清晰起来。整首歌只有一句没变过调的合声，电音细细碎碎，构成奇特的紧张感。向着落日狂奔，在空荡的大路上…… My world，女声一句一句慢慢念着：My town, my street, my house, my door...男声一字一句慢慢重复，不带情感的声音，想起剪刀手爱德华。这一定是个童话。飘离的口哨声，时空的壁垒在融化……my name, my flat, my window, my world…… 不用我说了，接下来的City lights一定是首相对的快歌了，印象比较深刻的就是一句词: won’t you like me more if I can smile. Gasoline Girl是首比较电的曲子，虽然整张专辑就是小电，但我总觉得这首格外电，连声音都电过了。较为沉重的气氛在Rainbow Flows里得到了延续。前奏中仿佛暴风雨般压抑的感觉和女声轻声的呢喃形成强烈对比。主歌里女主唱亮开了嗓子，有那么点像Mazzy Star。唱得很少，只有三句词，一系列不和谐音。旋律不停重复重复，神经兮兮的，却自然不做作。 S leep Tight Tiger...晚安老虎，睡个好觉。一直搞不明白tiger到底是什么意思，但这首曲子真的很棒。 睡个好觉，老虎，好梦到天亮。 我是你枕边的泪，那美丽的忧伤。 我爱你爱你爱你，永远和今天一样。 我是你身上的影子，就快离开你身旁。 Mean Street是首纯音乐，The Good Man前半段则是一段很长的念白。网上到处都找不到词，只好自己听了，好在主唱的声音非常清楚： I am the superman, the great enemy of evil. I fight for goodness, fight for what's right. The superman with super powers, the super good against bad behaviour. I've always been a superman.
