乐迷对音乐人的作品更新的态度总是很贱，上一张我买账了，那么下一张你必须做的更好，哦不，这还不够，你必须让我眼前一亮，让我兴奋半个月手捧CD仿佛撞上了了头彩并且暗自庆幸：当年俺的品味果真惊世骇俗，前排沙发看中了你这块未璞之玉，自己这么不容易那么费力气的看上了你，耽误了咱多少大好青春纯真年华陪你走到今天，哪怕咱听你的音乐也都是从贯彻伸手党的原则拒谈版权下崽当道。 于是过了这么多年，你发现他们高调的发行了新专辑，cover还这么肥猪流，于是鸡冻的开始畅想：以我这样资深发骚友的身份来预测，gorillaz这张新砖一定可以blow me away ,保守估计，也能take my breath away 但现实却你多少有点无法接受，你爱的damon几乎从专辑中消失了，noodle不见了，取而代之是有太多1-3线饶舌歌手feat加盟，根本不知道在讲些什么，你也听不出他们和gorillaz有何干系，听不出murdoc口口声声要阐明的那个反讽工业时代的概念。你发现他们的曲子还是一如既往的阴暗，但已经无法刺痛到你的G点，你开始怀疑是自己麻痹了，还是gorillaz变得不再完美了。 于是你失望了，你把它从硬盘里删除掉，强迫自己把记忆牢牢停驻在demons days 的黄金时代，你告诉自己，我心中的gorillaz永远是个没长大的孩子，他调皮捣蛋，他挑战你的神经，现在的他不是我爱的那个他，我只能选择无视之。 所以这张专辑和其他那些你曾经心水过却逐渐被你打入冷宫的专辑一样，总会有个收场的时间，总会有被你遗忘的一天。 所以别纠结了，一切都是浮云，有些云近在咫尺，有些高高在上，没有谁更崇高更伟大，终究散去

不谈期望值这种子无须有的问题，仅仅说我用一张白纸的心来体会这张砖，依然能感到rivers cuomo的灵感源源不断，他尝试加入了新的元素，而且还不赖，不是么 love is the answer : 这样的印度女人声音你们不喜欢么？眼前不会浮现太平盛世么？ can't stop partying : 首先因为weezer和lil wayne名字中都包括we这样的发音部分，另外，lil 那种坏坏的小男孩语气也和weezer的曲风相符，所以这样的说唱加摇滚组合并没有使之简单的变成拼盘，不是么? I want you to :开头和副歌的部分都相当吸引人，也让人联想到一种滑稽的场景：weezer们穿着草裙跳舞打鼓，一副童真无邪。 不举例了，总之超爱这张专辑，weezer没有让我失望，我不需要再听一首类似Beverly hill或者my brain is working overtime了，我就喜欢不断改变不断创新的weezer。 如果这还不够令你惊喜，去听听rivers 为adam lambert的首砖写的一首歌： 《pick u up》 依然使我们最欢乐的weezer！
