中文名称:Crooked Crosses For The Nodding God 资源类型:MP3! 发行时间:1989年 专辑歌手:Current 93 地区:英国 语言:英语 简介: 专辑介绍: David Tibet和Current 93能够产生如此巨大的影响力,是因为David Tibet与工业噪音/实验工业噪音有着十分深厚的关系。实际上,Current 93的成立正是从1983年,David Tibet、John Balance和Fritz Haaman的合作开始的,首度发表的作品是单曲“Lashtah”。当时的成员中John Balance是工业噪音重要乐队Throbbing Gristle分支之一Psychic TV早期的主要成员,后来又自行组建了另一个十分重要的工业噪音乐队Coil。Fritz Haaman则是另一工业噪音乐队23 Skidoo的主要成员。而像前面提到的实验工业噪音乐队Nurse With Wound的核心Steven Stapleton,就经常出现在Current 93唱片制作群中。而David Tibet本人也常以个人或Current 93的名义参与Nurse With Wound、Coil,以及著名后工业噪音厂牌Dark Vinyl旗下众多乐队的唱片制作。如果从后工业噪音的角度来看,在其众多的重要人物主线中,David Tibet—Steven Stapleton—John Balance是不可或缺的一条。这一主线因为John Balance的关系上承工业噪音核心乐队Throbbing Gristle的正宗工业血统(Coil的另一成员Peter Christopherson也是这个乐队的四分之一);同时它又以其阴暗低调、反基督、异质声音而直接引导出阴暗乐派,特别是阴暗工业噪音(Dark Industrial/Death Industrial)。由此我们不难看出在David Tibet/Current 93的音乐里,上承下启着两种重要的地下音乐,体现着工业噪音音乐的发展。同时,又由于Tibet曾经参与过Death In June的关系,在原Death In June成员Douglas P的参与下,Current 93也有真正属于死亡民谣的作品。因而我们也不难看出David Tibet/Current 93的音乐其实是成分混杂,处于过渡阶段的一种音乐类型。若想仅凭一两首作品就可窥视其全貌是不可能的事。以Current 93的作品为例,它既有像《Dogs Blood Rising》这样离经叛道,充满邪教血腥味道的噪音专辑,也有《Thunder Perfect Mind》这样表面清淡平和,实际充满内在张力的邪异民谣作品。在Current 93不同时期的专辑中随风格的不同会有不同的制作班底。一般来说比较噪音的作品大多会有上文提到的Steven Stapleton的参与;而较民谣的作品则会有Douglas P的参与。而在这当中起作用的人物当然就是David Tibet。其实Current 93一直以来就仿佛是David Tibet一人的代名词,其他人都不是固定成员。 透过Current 93的音乐历程,我们可以更深切的体会到David Tibet的内心世界。早期乐队在音乐所表现出的离经叛道、血腥暴力,在文字中流露出的耶路撒冷沉沦的末日景象,其实正是现实中工业社会下人们对残酷生活的扭曲梦境反应。工业技术的进步,日益增加的信息无法解决现代人类的空虚和孤独。人们恍如丧失灵魂一般地生活着。乐队后期的作品虽然趋于平和,但对宗教的执著却始终不减。David Tibet曾经表示,他最向往的是他童年的生活。因为在那时不会有成年后的不快经历,也不必强迫自己去做很多违心的事情。现实生活的空虚和孤独源自于谎言和不信任,这些都是Tibet所不愿看见的。于是Tibet只好通过神话来找寻自己的灵魂——摆脱空虚和孤独的困境。这是死亡民谣,以及众多低调音乐的共同特征。这也反映出这样的事实:我们是在通过音乐达到通往神话境界的目的,然后又通过神话回归人类最原始的精神境界,让我们的灵魂在音乐中回到自身。 专辑曲目: 1.He Is Everywhere Nowhere 2.Nortforth 3.Hail 4.The Return Of The Final Church 5.Snow 6.Oh Thou Coal Black Smith 7.From Boyd's Bunker 8.Ending Ending 9.The Summer Past 10.The Sickstair Song 11.Toytown Awakes 12.Dark Wood Too Awakes 13.After Tomorrow 14.Hey Ho The Nodding God Comes! 15.Looney Runes
